Self install was pretty simple, less than an hour.
Getting these running boards for my hubby’s Rivian made it so much easier to load up, as well as get in and out with a puppy. Great quality, very attractive.
These running boards are a great option for my Rivian R1S especially since Rivian never offerred them as part of the build. They were fairly straighforward to install myself, although because of the plastic inserts covering the bottom of the car, I had to modify them by cutting a slit and fitting the support brackets through them. All in all I think they are functional and look great. They also add side protection if you leave the car in standard height as it will prevent most car doors from hitting the Rivian body. If you decide to DIY and put the plastic inserts back on, be prepared to do some creative modifications and spend more time.
Great product! Now my wife can get into the vehicle without issue. Installation was easy. Bracket markings were incorrect but that was easy to notice. Now I still want to cut the removed panels so they can be re-installed.
It took a while to receive it but was well worth. The packaging was perfect and the quality is great, I had a auto repair shop to install it but if you have the right tools and the place probably you can do it (not me!). Once installed, it is very sturdy and it makes it very easy in & out of the truck and most importantly it makes the Wife very happy!! Thank you EVbase.
Great looking and well build, easy to install although I had to switch 2 of the brackets from the driver's side to the passenger side so it can align with the factory bolt on my 2024 R1t. Other than that the installation was very easy.

Easy to install
I installed these running boards a couple of weeks ago. The reason was that my 5'2" elderly mother was having a hard time getting into the vehicle. I looked around and felt that these were perfectly stylish and functional for my car. The look was just as important as the functionality of the step. They are a solid great product for the price. I have several pros and cons on the product. The pro is it is stylish, great looking, extremely strong and durable and the design aspect really took into the lines of the vehicle. The cons are installing takes time, the brackets are mislabeled (the passenger brackets belong to drivers side and vice versa), the instructions are not the best and watching videos on youTube are extremely helpful, re-installing the plastic body pieces are difficult as they need to be modified and lastly, you do hear rocks and debris bang against the running boards with a ping sound. But the Pros way outlay the cons. I actually am so happy that I installed them and highly recommend them to others.
