Great product, pretty easy to install (2 people makes it much easier), adds so much functionality and cool-factor to the car. Personally, I think these should come stock on Model Y's with that huge, awesome glass roof. But since they don't, this product does a FANTASTIC job, I highly recommend!

MVP Auto Electric Sunshade

This Tesla MYP Electric Auto sunshade is shipped from southern California, so it arrived within a week (even with the 2-day delay from FedEx). The box was damaged with lots of tape all over it, but everything works. I ordered a similar electric shade from China that was never shipped nor delivered plus it was more expensive. EVBASE is a reliable and great price company. Overall, the auto shade works perfectly. The color of the shade is a little lighter which I think it matches perfectly. I think the fabric is even better the OEM fabric. As for the installation, it took almost 2 hours for 2 seniors to install. We follow the detailed You Tube video (with the kids) and it provides all the tricks for the installation. We used to have the regular sunshade, and we are very happy with the upgrade. We can see the moon and stars at night once again with the ease of a simple press of a button.

Works Great!!

I'm not going to lie but the installation was much more difficult than the demo video and the amount of time it took me was more than an hour. Maybe it's because I was installing it by myself and pulling the wire through the panel was the most difficult part of the installation for me.

Once I installed, it works great, and it saved my battery from depleting due to the extreme summer heat. I definitely recommend this product if you have a Model Y or planning to purchase one, it's a must have before you purchase.

Easy Peasy and Great Service

Having had bad experiences, I expected this install to take hours. Only about 1.5 hours. thread the device wires through to the back, i think the video showed the opposite. Definitely two people for the mounting.
EVBase gave great service, I got my product in So Cal in three days. My only wish is more real time communication. Once I got through via text and email, things went well. I will use this co again!

Electric shade works great

Installed the electric shade using YouTube directions——very helpful. It definitely takes two people & patience. Only issue is I had something on my hand that stained a small portion & I’m afraid to do anything to get it off——don’t want to make it worse.

The install was extremely easy and can be done by the most beginner of DIYers. The product fits well and matches the interior of the Tesla and it saves you the headache of having to remove regular sunshades or retract the spring loaded ones. This is worth every dollar!!

The one to buy!

So after spending a couple of weeks with this product I can honestly say that it is the best one I’ve purchased thus far. The third is a charm. The other 2 I had previously were 2 part systems and inherently had issues with rattles and squeaks and eventually failed. Not the case with this unit. Installation was fairly straightforward thanks to the great video and it is solid. No vibrating sounds and no squeaks. The electric feature of opening and closing with a touch of a button is classy. The color was slightly off from my stock interior but close enough that it is not easily noticeable. Thank you EVBASE for a solid product!
