One essential yet often overlooked accessory is the jack pad, a must-have for safe and damage-free vehicle lifting.Rivian vehicles do not come with jack pucks. This presents a real challenge—you cannot rotate, change, or install new tires without a set of jack pucks, as Rivian does not include a complete tool kit for these basic tasks.The only alternative involves removing four sets of underbody panels and associated hardware to access the frame rails directly—an option most shops avoid due to the risk of damaging plastic components or misplacing hardware.There was no practical way to safely lift the vehicle using Rivian’s recommended jack points without first removing sections of the underbody paneling—something that felt both impractical and unnecessary for routine maintenance.
